Saturday 24th April – OAP’s Day
14:00 h. Lunch for all the elderly from the village
16:30 h. Caliche at the teleclub (game played in Spain) for the local league
23:00 h, Band – BULEVAR.
02:00 h. Bread and sobrasada for snacks.
Sunday 25th April
18:00 h. Bingo and yummy snacks
21:00 h. The Mariachi SANGRE MEXICANA.
Friday 30th April – Young People’s Day
23:00 h. Band – KISS.
02:00 h. Hot chocolate and cake for snacks, to keep the energy up.
Saturday 1st may – Children’s Day
10:00 h. Children’s play area (bouncy castle, playground, fair rides) and snacks for all the kids.
14:00 Lunch for everyone of a giant migas
17:00 h. Championship caliche for the ladies, with pressies and food for all participants
18:00 h. Story time/theatre for the children paid for by Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Murcia .
23:00 h. Band – BUDÚ. With our neighbour Vicente on the drums. It’s fancy dress night, with loads of prizes.
02:00 h. Food for everyone.
Sunday 2nd May – The Romería (horses) and Ladies day
10:00 h. Huge procession of horses and carriages leaving Corvera (Gas station) going on to La Murta.
13:00 h. Mass and the Rociero (choral singers)
14:00 h. Giant Paella for everyone to enjoy.
18:00 h. Bingo and yummy food.
22:00 h. Variety acts with: LARRY (comedian), Mª DOLORES CURADO (Spanish singer) y VEDETTE (surprise). Everyone helps to dress the cross of Santa Cruz. Chocoalte and cakes for everyone.
Monday 3rd May – Patron Saint Day
Starts the day with fireworks, and a band going through the streets to wake everyone up.
12:00 h. Mass in honour of Santa Cruz. Singer José Travel Montoya “El Repuntín” and his band: Pedro López El Cardoso 1, Pedro López El Cardoso 2, Francisco el Floristero y a la guitarra Tomás. Paid for by Excmo. Ayuntamiento de Murcia.
13:30 h. Dancing and drinking Vermouth – Baile-Vermouth.
14:00 h. Whole village has lunch together – everyone brings some food and then we all share.
20:00 h. Procession around the village carrying the cross, with the band “Los Frescos”.
21:30 h. Giant tortilla for everyone to share. Fireworks to end the fiesta
